Membership Subscriptions You can join the Society by paying the annual subscription here in the Store. Existing members may also renew their annual subscription here in the Store. Our membership year is from 1st September to the 31st August Please note if you join now your membership will be for next year and will run until August 31st 2009. In other words you will not have to pay again until September 1st 2009.

Beginners Guides

Record's and other Indexes This Section includes a variety of transcriptions within the Society's area of interest.

Maps This Section has been split into the type of maps available for purchase. Included are Old Ordnance Survey Series produced by Alan Godfrey Maps, The London Topographical Society map books based on the periods (e.g. Regency, Victorian, etc) and other one off publications.

Research Guides The Society is able to offer a wide range of popular Research Guides. These include publications from the FFHS (Federation of Family History Societies); SOG (Society of Genealogists); PRO (Public Record Office), McLaughlin Guides, Gibson Guides. We also have a selection of Guides published by our neighbouring Societies, West Surrey, Surrey & Sussex etc.

Cockney Ancestor There are 3 ways you can obtain back issues of our quarterly journal, the Cockney Ancestor You can either purchase a copy of the journal (If in stock) which will be posted to you.newer editions are added after the year end. You can get a digital copy of each journal (1 to 100) which you can download straight away. You can also purchase "The First 100 Cockney Ancestor's" on Cd which is fully searchable.
